HAPPY VALENTINE TO MY BLACK WOMEN Black woman, You deserve so much more than the usual gifts on Valentine! Mahogany cards chocolate covered cream puffs stuffed teddy bears and all that other sentimental stuff are simply not enough to convey my love and admiration for Black women! How does one present a Valentines Day Card to express love and appreciation for a woman that has survived history's darkest hours? How does one present a bouquet of flowers to a woman who has endured centuries of segregation decades of sexism and discrimination? Black women deserve more than a dozen carnations! That's the reason why I say Black women deserve so much more than the usual gifts on Valentines Day! And when I proclaim my love for Black women I speak of a love stronger than the arrow shot by Cupid's bow I speak of a love rooted in admiration anchored in respect and based on dignity and If this world were mine these are some of the gifts I would give every Black woman on Valentine I would craft you a Valentines Day card in the heavens then write your name in the clouds I would include a line about how a Black woman's smile is brighter than the sunshine I would decorate this card with a bow using the vivid colors of the rainbow and seal it with a kiss from God I would then present you with hills of chocolate covered strawberries fields of sunflowers, tulips and daffodils I would offer you rivers of overflowing Champaign and waterfalls of Zinfandel because a bouquets of long stemmed roses is simply not sufficient to express my love and admiration for you! If this world were mine there is no limit to the gifts that I would present every Black woman on Valentine Upon night fall I would command a cluster of stars to illuminate the night sky word with your image I would decorate the galaxy with your beautiful face so that your smile radiates into outer space and instead of presenting you with a balloon I would present you with the moon I would take each one of the tears that you wept throughout the years and transform them into diamonds and present you with rings forged in Ashanti gold I would present you with a purple rose and compose a heartfelt love poem a loving sonnet celebrating the beauty and sanctity of your smile I would present you with the finest gifts but still that one day would not be adequate time to convey my love and admiration for you! If this world were mine there is no limit to the gifts that I would give every Black woman on Valentine! I Love you!  HRDASHELL |

This is very sweet. And in being a black woman, I must speak for all women because I think all women deserve some love in their lives. Even when some are not deserving of that love. But I am flattered by this post and the words here. Thanks...  I am the real deal! "Come Get Me!!!"
