For much of this decade (!), I have had problems with this site as described in my last post.
I have now managed to fix these through trial and error. The issue was caused by my scanning utility thining that parts of the site is spam.
Now we all know that there are some spammy members on here who wink at you from thousands of miles away - usually Ghana or Nigeria and then dissappear when Local Sexy Swingers realise who they are and close their profiles, but never have I thought that an innocent smiley or a tool bar could be deemed to be spam!
So if you suddenly found on 30 December 2009 that your experience was like mine with x's all over the place and can't get a resolution, feel free to contact me and I will offer a solution that has been proven to work.

I am making this post in the hope that others who are experiencing red crosses all over the site - discussed on the Site Support Blog may see it.
I know of one other user who has the issue - I cannot believe that we are alone. I cannot believe that the whole user community would simply carry on without saying something some where!
So if what you actually see on the site has not changed since 30 December 2009 and it is behaving normally what's your secret?

A very different World

It is several months since I made a post on this blog and in that time there have been some momentous changes in the World. Some good, most bad. There is an awful lot of doom and gloom about what 2009 is going to bring us. Some have suggested that it is going to be as bad as the 1930's. I doubt it. But there will be some who may decide that sex is a sure fired way of making money. It may be and I will be alert to any scans that may come my way.
However it will also be a time of increased pressures in life especially to those who may fall victim to the anticipated losses in employment. This naturally can lead to a loss of self esteem and depression. For those who have not really experienced a downturn, I can say that things do have a way of working themselves out provided you keep trying and don't give up.
This site does have an element of human interaction, something I would like to get more involved with. That is why I have after a lot of thought decided to revamp my profile which I will start shortly. That may also involve a name change as the handle I gave myself can be more of a hindrance when it comes to communicating with couples and the fairer sex. It may therefore be time to re invent myself as I do want to do anything I can to cheer those up who may be feeling a bit down.
Yes I know that this site has an element of escapism about it, but sometimes it does help to talk about these things rather than put your head in the sand.
I doubt that any change will result in any meetings. If I have not met anyone on here in several years of membership, I am hardly likely to start now. The shock would be too much for me  But if it results in some cyber friendships where there is a bit of brain power put into a communication then that would be something worthwhile

One Flirt does not make a view

25 Flirts and 15 Views. It does not add up. Why send a wink to someone without looking at their profile? I could understand it if the flirts came from Standard members who may have to be selective in what they look at, but I can't understand it from Gold members, who can send messages to their hearts desire.
Anyone like to offer some insight?

The joy of shopping

Usual Saturday for me wandering around the shops, but the current hot weather has really led to many stripping off as much as they can get away with!
Whilst there are the odd one or two who really ought to hide what they have got - or wear something a bit more flattering at least, generally the display of legs and glimpses of backs, cleavages and some fine tans added a nice extra to the usual humdrum of shopping. Indeed one could almost be at the seaside.
This summer has been a long while in coming and there is no knowing how long it will last - it is Engand after all! It does seem though as if everyone wants to make the most of it that they can.
It does though remind us of double standards. It is acceptable for men to wander around topless - not that many would do so around town, but still completletly unnacceptable for women to wander around topless, yet women are more prone to be hotter in the chest area than men. Strange that.
I wander how many others were secretly enjoying some of the more attractive displays on offer, and how many would have liked to have shed a bit more clothing.
I am sitting here in my shorts and still am hot though, but when I think of some of the legs I have seen today, I am getting even hotter.

Summer at last!

As I sit here in my shorts, I realise that at long last a bit of summer weather has arrived. I was beginning to think that this year was going to be a bit of a damp squid - literally.
You can't beat a bit of natural warmth and it makes us all feel that things are on the up. It also means that those who are able to take part in the dating game have a few more choices of things to do and places to go.
A romantic walk in the country for example loses its attraction when its wet, windy and cold, don't you think?
Enjoy. Make the most of it. In 5 months time we'll be rushing about doing the last minute Christmas shopping

Whatever next! Still if it gets people to accept that bodies come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and to actually appreciate that everyone has their good bits and bad bits, and encourages people not to be coy about their bodies it must be a good thing.
However tonight's program must possibly be the earliest ever showing of mens bits on mainstream TV!
I tried the left hand test. My third finger is just about the same length as my index finger (slightly shorter) so this may confirm my Bi nature.

Who wants a Peterborough & Fens Group?

I do! Otherwise I would not make a post about it. For sometime now I have wandered why there are not any really active General Groups covering the Peterborough area including the Fens. This is a large area and encompasses most of the County of Cambridgeshire, a huge chunk of Lincolnshire and parts of Norfolk. Yet there is no successful general group covering this area.
I am very envious of those successful groups that exist in neighbouring Counties and feel that there must be enough creative folk who can help in making a group covering the area I have roughly set out. We could make Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire honorary Fenland counties to include those who live on the fringes of the area.
I have therefore made a few posts on a virtually dormant group Peterborough Exchange, setting out the sort of thing it would be nice to see in the area and dependent on demand it is my plan to see if I could either take on Peterborough Exchange or create a group that covers the same sort of areas that Peterborough Exchange does (although I do think some of them could be tweaked).
I know that others have tried and failed, but it is clear from the layout of the successful groups such as Sanctuary or Is there a Hull group? to give but two examples.
In my mind Groups should be about a bit of banter, but also enables you to get an idea what someone is like. This is very important if you are considering communicating with someone privately with a view to possibly meeting them. The likelihood of any meeting between two or more group members must be made greater if they live in the same geographical area surely?
Or am I sitting on my face?

Gone for Gold

Well after a lot of consideration, I have decided to plump for Gold. So this is my first blog post as part of the qualification requirements for the extra 6 months free. Somehow I suspect that sending three emails a months as well as making a group post and blog post each month will be a tall order.
However if anyone is in the same boat then I'm happy to exchange emails!
Decided to keep my handle as well. If I can't be true to my sexuality on an adult website where can I?
