It has been an eventful month away, but not in a good way most of the time.
Planning my mother�s funeral was probably the most difficult thing that I have ever had to do in my life. I wish I could say that it went off without a hitch, but it didn�t. However, I was able to keep smiling thru most of it. Being able to laugh in times of deep depression is a wonderful thing.
One strange thing that happened during all of this was that I have actually had conversations with my ex-boyfriend. Even though the break-up was traumatic, he still cared for my mom. Well, here we are in 2010...
To recap my life in the 4 weeks since I last posted:
The day before my birthday, my aunt called to let me know that my grandmother had to be rushed to the ER.
