Been back to Minnesota since July 21st. Was starting to rain when I left Las Cruces. Up to 0.40" for the year already. Only 24.5" in Minneapolis so far this year. Oh well. Muggy and wet here not burning hot and dry over there.

Returned to Minnesota early in May. Traded dust for rain. Traded drought for floods. I will return to the drought and dust next week. While I was here we had 20 times the amount of the rain fall in las Cruces for tne entire year.

Come to Las Cruces this time of the year if you want to get dusted off. Breath the grit while you watch the shingles blow off the neighbor's roof and perhaps your own. This is a roofer's paradise here.

Local Sexy Swingers has the nerve to say that "we all love the new message system'. I think it stinks. Its a heavy resource hog and difficult to understand. I wil not renew my Gold membership.

Weather is beautifull here but the drought is getting serious. Were going to die of thirst pretty soon.

House is closed up for the winter in Minneapolis. It was a difficult and hurried departure this year. Bone dry in Las Cruces but pleasant and warm. I wish all of you back in the frozen north a Merry Christmass and a Happy New Year.

Heading back to la Cruces. When we left Las cruces near the end of July it was bone dry there. Severe drougth. That followed us up to the nortern border of Iowa. When we got back to Minnesota it was lush green. Thats rare in Minnesota in July. Especially since it was the 2nd. hottest July in history. Well the rain petered out in August and by the 4th. week it quit altogether. We just completed the 2nd. driest September in history at 0.31 inches. In the mean time its raining in las cruces. Go figure.
